There is rising hatred against Brahmins all over the country and the Change.org has come forward to submit a petition digned by Brahmins of the country to the Supreme Court of India to stop this hatred mongering against Brahmins. I am one of the supporters of the said org and the following are the comments made by me.
"There is all round hatred for Brahmins in the entire country, but the venom spewed against Brahmins in Tamil Nadu is unparalelled. Brahmin baiting brings votes and in recent days, some christian and muslim groups indulge in vituperous attacks on Brahmins on the strength of support from Dravidian parties. With the demise of Jayalalithaa this hatred against Brahmins has reached its peak. Very silly and spurious arguments are put forth and since most of the other caste and community people have been brainwashed over years, that has resulted in the present situation. The government at the state level and at the centre has a responsibility to protect them from these anti social and casteist elements. What is happening to the pundits of Kashmir should not be allowed to happen to the Brahmins in this country. No political party in this country ever raises its voice agaist the discrimination shown to Brahmins since they are not vote banks. Brahmins are the modern dalits of India and without the constitutional support, their future looks bleak. There is a need for Brahmins to organise themselves into a powerful group to protect themselves from extinction".
Brahmins are more interested in finding fault with each other and are acting as a self defeating group. It is time for us to unite shedding all our ego for our decent survival
