Present election system has lots of flaw. The voter Card and name in the Voter list is a ploy. Many of the eligible voters never find their name in the voter list even if they have a voter card. The election commission never bothers to hear and correct the malady in the system. The election commission has turned a blind eye to what really happens in the elections. They can be considered non functional. For example, in a given constituency, there are 100 voters, only 80 voters enumerate their names. Out of these 80 names, 20 voters never bother to come and vote. Another 30 voters names are interchanged to some other area and thus their names are missing the voting list during voting. remaining 30, 20 voters are from other castes (minorities) who promptly go and vote to one particular party only. the remaining 10 voters, 5 do vote and the other 5 votes are fradulently cast. So if one scientifically plans the election, they can win very easily any election in any constituency just manipulating the voting pattern and system.
For more people to come out and vote, election commisson sould allow those having proper Identity cards like aadhar card, pan card, bank account properly certified, ration card, property proof etc should be allowed to vote and if their names are missing in the voting list, should be included on the spot and upgraded. This way, if in a constituency, if somebody twists the list by transferring the portion of voters to other place, this can be immdiately and rectified and caught. Also install a CCTV camera at all polling booths and broadcast the voting process live, so that the party as well as the public can see live that everything is working according to law.
Many such novel ideas can be implemented and technology used to maximise, so that we get properly elected representative at the state and central governments.
